Who Is Jesus Christ?
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is the exact image of His Father and is united in love with Him and the Holy Spirit.
These three – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – are God in three Persons: The Holy Trinity. They worked together in making our whole universe. Jesus is truly cosmic, yet also a friend to broken people. While on earth, He healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, performed many miracles and taught about God and eternal life. God is love and it is through Jesus that we learn just how much we are loved.
Jesus came to earth to reconcile all things to Himself – including us! He gave up His own life on a cruel cross to pay the price for our rebellion against God. There is no forgiveness of sins without blood being spilled. Three days after He was crucified on the cross, He rose again from the dead – just as He said He would – verifying beyond any doubt that He really is the Son of God.
